SUSTAINABILITY AT BAUTO


Economic, environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) elements has become an integral aspect of the Group’s business operations and sustainable development forms a core value and part of its values and principles. The Group continues to uphold sustainable practices in all its undertakings and ensures that ESG remain at the heart of its business operations and forms an integral part of its Mission Statement.

The Group’s Sustainability Statement reporting frameworks was prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiatives (“GRI”) Standards: Comprehensive Option; the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad’s Sustainability Reporting Guide; the International Organisation for Standardization (“ISO”) 26000:2010 Guidance on Social Responsibility; and local and international sustainability indices such as the FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Index. BAuto also supports goals and initiatives by the United Nations Global Compact and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
